All members of the IASC are expected to adhere to our Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct. You can read the full Code and Standards within our Terms & Conditions. Here is a summarised version to give you an overview!

  • I will conduct my business in ways that can only enhance the reputation of our industry
  • I will respect the confidentiality of my clients & fellow IASC members
  • I will not abuse my IASC membership or exploit my professional relationships
  • I will act in the best interests of my clients and fellow IASC members
  • I will not engage in any unsolicited messaging of potential clients or the IASC community
  • I will not make unrealistic or misleading claims about my services
  • I will never use hard-sell tactics intended to manipulate or deceive
  • I will only use the IASC’s Membership Logo and designation letters while my membership is valid
  • I recognise that the needs of my client are paramount at all times
  • I will not offer my clients advice that I understand to be inaccurate or beyond my capability to assess
  • I promise to fulfil my ethical and moral obligations as an image professional
  • I commit to the highest standards of integrity, honesty and transparency
  • I will respect all intellectual property rights belonging to others and won’t share content without permission
  • I will treat all my professional contacts with dignity, respect and equality

Further to all the above…

We wish to remind our members that when you join the IASC, you’re coming into a place of support, encouragement, patience and kindness towards each other! We expect you to be courteous at all times. We’re all in this together to create a welcoming environment. We treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.

We won’t tolerate any hate speech or bullying – full stop! It’s our job to ensure everyone feels safe, so bullying of any kind just isn’t allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity won’t be tolerated for a moment.

We don’t allow any promotions or spam – and definitely no recruiting for Multi-Level Marketing Schemes. Keep it out of our group please – that’s not what our members want! We like to give more than we take and this is the spirit we of the IASC community. Self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links don’t have a place in our group chats.

Being part of the IASC requires mutual trust. We often share photos and details that are private. Authentic, expressive discussions make our community great, but may also be sensitive. What’s shared in the group must stay in the group.

Here at the IASC, we have two main categories of membership…

Accredited Membership:

Accredited Membership is only open to individuals who have graduated from an IASC-Accredited ‘Style Coach™ Training Programme’ and currently hold a diploma in professional ‘Style Coaching™’. Accredited members are authorised to use the designatory letters ‘MIASC Accred.’ and promote your professional status with the use of an exclusive ‘Accredited Member’ logo.

Affiliate Membership:

Affiliate membership of the IASC is currently open only for Style Coach™ trainees enrolled on an IASC-Accredited Style Coach™ Training Programme. Please note that Affiliate Membership is subject to strict review criteria and approval is not guaranteed. You may be requested to provide evidence of your enrolment status and we reserve the right to refuse membership under certain circumstances. Feel free to contact us for further information.

Our membership fees are simple and apply to all membership levels: 

– Annual Subscription: £150 GBP (includes 2 months for free)
– Monthly Subscription: £15 per month

Whichever membership level is right for you, you can be sure that being a part of the IASC will help you to uplevel your image career and get a head start on your way to becoming a world-class image professional and entrepreneur! The resources, support and access-levels are the same for all members.

Please be aware that we do not accept applications from image trainers or course providers working within the image industry and we reserve the right to refuse membership where any conflict of interests is likely to occur.
